Our brain is like a computer and it works/memorize things as per instructions obtained by it. So if we want to increase our memory power then we must program our brain in a special way. We can associate the things which we want to remember with something that is easier to remember. This use of association to remember things is very interesting technique or art of assisting memory. This short verse to help memory is long term and problem of forgetting or getting puzzled in exam is solved very easily. Acronym, Acrostics, Poem recitation can also be very good techniques of assisting memory along with association which are explained below. Acronym-it is made up of first letters of the word to be remembered easier.
e.g. Basic need of human-WAS-F, water, air, shelter, food
Acrostics- it is an art of memorizing
technique which is made up by creating a meaningful sentence or a story by
using the first letter of each word.
e.g. 1. Water cycle- Evaporation, Condensation, Rain, Snow

Association- it is device of memory technique in which key terms can be
associated to our experiences thus facilitating, understanding and remembering.
Here are some examples of these arts/techniques:-
1. Steps of scientific investigation:-
